✨ What are the plates made out of?
The plates and platters are made of a ThermoSāf® plastic resin that is high quality, durable, and microwave/oven/dishwasher safe.
✨ Are the plates ceramic?
No, the plates and platters are a high quality plastic resin. Similar to a melamine platter, but it is free of harmful chemicals and can be microwaved, placed in the oven, and dishwasher...something you don't always see with melamine.
✨ How are the designs applied to the plate?
Artwork is a printed design sublimated on the platter. It is not vinyl or paint.
✨ Where are your products made?
Our product is 100% made in the USA, including design, materials, and labor. Your purchase supports American-owned small businesses.
✨ Are the plates free of chemicals and BPAs?
Yes! Our plates and platters are made of a material that is FDA approved for food contact, BPA-free, and contains no harmful chemicals. Our dyes are non-toxic and water-based.
✨ What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order is damaged during the shipping process, please notify me within 7 days. You will need to submit photos of the damaged item and shipping box. Contact hello@ourplatter.com for assistance with damages.
✨ How long does it take to receive my order?
All orders are custom designed and made to order. Please allow approximately 7-9 business days for your order to ship out. During holiday seasons, check the home page announcements for updates to this timeline, which could extend to 2 or more weeks. Shipping transit times are approximately 2-5 business days, but could change due to shipping carrier delays.
✨ Do you offer rush shipping?
Yes, select the expedited shipping option at checkout to have your product made in 2-3 business days, with a shipping transit time of 2-3 days.
✨ What is the shipping fee?
We offer $4.99 flat rate shipping within the United States. Orders over $50 received free shipping. International shipping, is calculated at checkout.
✨ Do you accept returns?
Due to the nature of personalized products, we are unable to accept returns, but customer satisfaction is a top priority and we will work with our customers on any issues. Contact hello@ourplatter.com if you need assistance.
